, I found myself near Columbus Circle with time to spare and popped into the Nordstrom store. I haven’t bought any clothes in a physical retail store since the pandemic started, so it was a real “experience!” They had a charming Rag & Bone deli installation set up in the middle of the store, and I bought a pair of
denim shorts. I’m not sure what came over me as I rarely wear shorts, but I figure they would be great to have come summertime!Lilah Ramzi, Features and Shopping Editor Up until a couple of weeks ago, I had a firm no-shorts policy—in them, I just never felt very put together. Recently while vintage shopping, I came across a gingham tunic and high-waisted short set that felt very 1940s playsuit. I’m thinking it’s the coordinating separates that provides the polish I’m looking for. Suffice to say, I’ve reconsidered my no-shorts rule.
