For seven seasons, one vocal and large corner of the 9-1-1 fanbase has been calling for Buck and Eddie to turn their friendship into a romance, but season 8, episode 6 seemingly shut down that plea. Ever since Eddie joined the cast of 9-1-1 in season 2, many viewers have picked up on the chemistry between him and Buck. The two characters quickly became best friends and undoubtedly have one of the strongest relationships in the series.
