Woman was stunned to see that potatoes had grown tentacles all over her flat in three months.

PARIS – A French woman, while returning from three-month quarantine due to coronavirus, became terrified after seeing metre-long potatoes ‘tentacles’ invaded her kitchen.

22-year-old Donna Pore bought £2.25 bag of potatoes from a supermarket in March to cook them in dinner. However, when lockdown was announced, she left her flat in Caen, leaving the vegetable under a kitchen shelf. After returning home three months later, she was stunned to see that potatoes had grown tentacles all over her flat.

“As the light was off and shutters down, I didn’t realize it was the potatoes. It was only after opening the shutters that I took note of this extraordinary sight. I was terrified at first, but after realizing what it was I laughed a lot and shared a video of the plant on Snapchat,” Donna said.
