Dr Christina Rundi berkata, Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sabah masih mengesan kes Covid-19 dalam kalangan individu yang mempunyai sejarah perjalanan ke luar negara seperti Thailand, Indonesia dan Amerika Syarikat.
KOTA KINABALU: Pengarah Kesihatan Sabah, Dr Christina Rundi berkata 85% atau 249 daripada 293 pesakit positif Covid-19 di negeri itu tidak menunjukkan gejala di peringkat awal.Oleh itu, katanya, individu yang mempunyai sejarah perjalanan ke luar atau dalam negara perlu dikuarantin.“Oleh itu, dalam usaha membendung penularan Covid-19, langkah kuarantin penting untuk memutuskan rantaian jangkitan agar virus itu tidak merebak dan menjangkiti orang lain,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Beliau berkata, pihaknya masih mengesan kes Covid-19 dalam kalangan mereka yang mempunyai sejarah perjalanan ke luar negara seperti Thailand, Indonesia dan Amerika Syarikat. “Begitu juga individu Sabah yang mempunyai sejarah perjalanan ke Semenanjung kerana masih terdapat kes Covid-19 dilaporkan di sana.”Subscribe to our newsletter and get news delivered to your mailbox.
