During the 'Crypto at a Crossroads' session at the World Economic Forum (WEF) conference, the Governor of the South African Reserve Bank questioned the value of Bitcoin as a strategic reserve. He emphasized South Africa's focus on Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and blockchain technology instead.
