“The horrific situation we are now in whereby certain left-wing jurisdictions … propose to allow children as young as 12 to decide on irreversible gender-affirming surgery without their parents’ consent,” Mr Dean said. “On Friday Elon Musk caused a stir on Twitter when he called for, wait for it, any parent or doctor who carries out sex change surgery on children to be locked away in prison for life, nothing satirical about that.”
