PM favours Article 140A’s full implementation to address problems of Karachi
ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the federal government is in favour of full implementation of Article 140A of the Constitution to address the longstanding problems of Karachi.
In a statement, he said the longstanding problems of Karachi cannot be solved unless the elected local government representatives become financially, politically and administratively autonomous in the spirit of the Constitution. He summoned the Sindh governor Imran Ismail in Islamabad today to discussed the important issues of Karachi and ongoing projects of the federal government.
