Author:Dara PrantUpdated:Oct 2, 2019Original:Oct 2, 2019That's a wrap for fashion month, folks. The Spring 2020 show season officially drew to a close on Tuesday evening. Things ended on a high note, thanks to a whirlwind Paris Fashion Week that included important reminders about climate change from Marine Serre and Stella McCartney, a handful of jaw-dropping sets and a catwalk crasher at Chanel.

Full Transparency 9Gallery9 ImagesYour panty line was once a thing to be disguised, but this season's transparency trend means that bras and knickers have been on display almost everywhere you look. Delicate Lace11Gallery11 ImagesDelicate French lace and its sturdy cousin, broderie anglais , were all over the runways in Paris. Loewe's warm-weather range made notable use of the latter with wispy dresses and ruffle-collared tunics. Meanwhile, Junya Watanabe employed the former to soften up a traditional trench coat.
