For those who prefer a secluded dip in a private space, pool rental apphas helped Houstonians beat the heat since 2020. Dubbed the"Airbnb for pools," the app connects homeowners with pools to residents looking for a place to entertain guests or just cool off.

The 15 foot-by-31 foot pool extends to six feet deep. The backyard also hosts a large above ground hot tub, a grill and a patio with ample seating and a TV. An available restroom is located inside the home.Rent is $35 an hour, and up to 20 guests are allowed.This $25 an hour rental near Sterling Ridge keeps it simple with a sunny 15 foot-by-30 foot pool.
