Video captured the group beating down a woman to the ground, punching and kicking her until she became unconscious.
Video of the incident released Tuesday morning captured the attack that happened at 15th and Chestnut streets around 7:12 p.m. on Feb. 23.
The video showed the moment the victim, a 33-year-old woman, was knocked down and beaten to the ground by eight people. The group continued to punch and stomp on her until she became unconscious, according to reports. The group then left her lying on the sidewalk injured. Surveillance footage shows several of them left the scene using bikes,The woman suffered injuries to her head, face, and body and was treated at a nearby hospital.
Now, police are asking anyone with information that may lead to locating the eight suspects to call 215-686-8477.
