RECALL ALERT | About 8 million units of The Laundress laundry detergent, fabric conditioner and other cleaning products are being recalled because they could contain bacteria, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

About 8 million units of The Laundress laundry detergent, fabric conditioner and other cleaning products are being recalled because they could contain bacteria, the United States Consumer Product Safety CommissionThe recalled products can contain bacteria, and people with weakened immune systems, external medical devices and underlying lung conditions who are exposed to the bacteria face a risk of serious infection that may require medical treatment,.

To date, according to the CPSC, testing has identified bacteria in certain recalled products, including those produced between January 2021 and September 2022.infections and is investigating these reports to see if there is any connection to the recalled products.for a complete list of recalled products.

Lot codes of affected products can be identified on the bottom or side of the bottle in black type, as seen in the red box.
