Douglas Uggah Embas berkata, sebuah kumpulan petugas khas ditubuhkan untuk mengesan lebih 400 penumpang yang terbang dari Kuala Lumpur ke Sarawak melalui 4 lapangan terbang utama antara 2 hingga 5 Mac.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bencana Sarawak, Douglas Uggah Embas berkata, 8 daripada 11 kes yang dilaporkan hari ini di Miri dan masing-masing satu di Kuching, Bintulu serta Sarikei. Jumlah kes positif meningkat sejak Jumaat lalu selepas 3 individu dari Kuching, termasuk 2 orang yang menyertai ijtimak tabligh di Kuala Lumpur dari 27 Feb hingga 1 Mac lalu, disahkan positif virus itu.
