It’s an organization that can be adapted several ways for the screen without the flamboyant theatrics of the comics, and still make for an excellent mystery-espionage story full of big twists and reveals, but set within a superhero world. I’d ordinarily say I want to build to the Justice League slowly, but the DCU has always been sold as an established world of heroes, and we know Batman is already out there, so it stands to reason that the other members could be too.
So maybe we don’t need origin stories. I think the issue with the DCEU version was Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman felt like main players, and then the others were sort of bolted on quickly and then we had to learn to care about them later. Honestly, I just want another Batman movie on top of what Matt Reeves is doing, and I’d quite like to see something like a Justice League Dark.
But I’m not holding my breath on the latter.what caused that problem though , so I’d rather take a lot more time here and have more movies like Superman. I don’t even want another Batman, ha, I just want Reeves’ movies there, and would rather have the DCU Batman after that’s totally done, but I know that’s not going to happen .
