Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman – known for his role as the chairman of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee – on Thursday said sacrificing animals through online payments
He also called for performing collective sacrifice preferably through madrassas during the upcoming Eidul Azha which is going to be affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
In an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus, the Saudi Arabian government has already announced that the people from other countries will not be allowed to perform Hajj this year.said the permit issued last year for collecting hides would be acceptable again. He and with other religious leaders called for following the SOPs like wearing masks and avoiding overcrowding at the temporary animal markets to be established outside cities.
Earlier in the day, Muneeb asked the people that one or two family members were enough to visit the animal markets and said it was mandatory for the responsible citizens to follow the SOPs.
