A 39-year-old man was arrested following a road rage shooting Thursday afternoon in Akron

Officers responded to the area of East Market and South Arlington Streets around 4:15 p.m. for a shooting.“The context of this is beyond senseless,” said Miller. Miller says one car was in a bike lane and tried to merge into traffic when contact was made. Both vehicles were traveling eastbound when the victim’s vehicle sideswiped the other involved vehicle, causing minor damage.
The report details Jenkins says he feared for his life and began shooting his gun, hitting Berry, before fleeing the scene.
