Earlier, in 2018, while speaking to Samina Peerzada in her show Speak your Heart, the artist revealed that the world of fame and acting does not appeal him anymore and he will leave acting soon, to move towards production. “I will leave acting very soon. I never [felt] connected to this profession. I don’t think I ever will. I want to venture into production now,” he told.
“I’ve started disassociating myself from a lot of people. I don’t go to award shows anymore – it just doesn’t make sense to me. All this glitz and glamour seem unimportant,” he further added.
