71-year-old man dead after central Pa. house fire

Several fire departments and a coroner responded to a late afternoon report of a house fire on East Berlin Street.

Zahriah Balentine | [email protected] to a report from the York County Coroner’s Office, the man was found in his residence in the 4900 block of East Berlin Road in Paradise Township after a house fire.Northeast Adams, Dover Township, West York, Nashville Volunteer and Dover Borough fire departments all responded to the scene.

Resuscitative efforts were made but Richard Bowersox, 71, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:17 p.m. The coroner was dispatched at 5:25 p.m. Details of the fire are not available from the coroner’s office. Northern York County Regional Police Department, along with the Pa.
