7 roads rendered impassable as floods hit Sabah
A traffic management plan has been set up on flooded Sabah roads and continuous monitoring is being carried out, says the state Public Works Department. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 25, 2023.
The Sabah Public Works Department in a statement said the seven are Jalan Pinawantai, Jalan Kampung Pengaraban, and Jalan Indrasan in Kudat; Jalan Liu Malibang, Jalan Kabatasan, and Jalan Kanibongan in Pitas; and Jalan Teringai in Kota Marudu. According to the department, only one lane of the Nangoh-Paitan-Kanibongan route is passable due to the flood.
