BUTUAN CITY – The number of Agusan del Norte province’s coronavirus disease tally has reached 50 after seven more cases were recorded in the towns of Buenavista and Carmen.
Department of Health Regional Spokesperson Romelyn Torallba told The Manila Bulletin on Wednesday that five new cases were traced to Buenavista town and two from Carmen. She said the additional cases were detected from among the locally stranded individuals and overseas Filipino workers who returned to the province recently.
All patients were asymptomatic, and were now confined in designated isolation facilities in the region, she added.The province has 35 remaining active virus cases, it was learned.
