One Boots shopper said: 'You can see the difference within hours' aff
Dupeshop has posted a video to its Instagram account sharing the Boots dupe. Dupeshop is a company that helps you find “affordable money-saving alternatives and dupes for popular makeup, skincare and fragrance products in the UK”.
Alongside a video of the two products, the page wrote: “CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS⁉️” The post compares La Mer’s Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream to Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream, which is stocked at Boots.In the video, both products can be seen as well as a walkthrough of Boots to find the dupe. In a voiceover, Dupeshop said: “Am I hallucinating or does Boots have a perfect dupe for this famous moisturiser…even though it's over £150 cheaper.
“Dermatologists prescribe this Avene cream constantly because of its post-biotic ingredients which rivals the algae extract ingredient found in La Mer. After weeks of testing, Dupeshop confirms this bargain dupe provides skin with insanely similar results.”The post racked up more than 2,000 likes and a number of comments from excited shoppers. Beneath the post, one person said: “Cicalfate of Avene is peerfect!!! It healed my face within few days”.
La Mer’s Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream is currently priced at £150 at LookFantastic, while Avène’s Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream costs £7.60 at Boots. This means shoppers could save £142.40 by opting for the dupe.READ NEXT:
