The city of Delaware is making another attempt to pass a new tax levy after a previous effort failed earlier this year. The decision as to who will replace Cory Hoffman will be made by Delaware City Council members as soon as Monday night.
Delaware City Council will hold 15-minute interviews with the seven applicants before council’s meeting Monday night, and could select the replacement. That person would be sworn in at the next council meeting.Hoffman resigned from council in January.
