Vaibhav Bahadur, a professor in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering and leader of the research stated: This process eliminated the need for chemical promoters and works well with seawater, making it more practical and environmentally friendly. Conventional carbon storage methods cause major issues such as leakage, groundwater contamination, and seismic risks.
