Using this data, we can analyze ongoing development in CNCF projects from multiple perspectives.” “One of the key metrics is “Contribution,” which measures activities such as reviews, comments, commits, issues, and pull requests. This allows us to obtain a quantitative measure of the amount of work being done on a project. As part of his work, Nagasawa is building and maintaining Kubernetes-centered infrastructure and platforms.In his free time, he follows the latest trends in Kubernetes and introduces new features and recent Kubernetes developments on his blog. He is also an active Kubernetes contributor, with a focus on SIG-Node.“Following the state of Kubernetes development in my free time enables me to keep contributing to Kubernetes. To reduce burden on maintainers, I proactively perform code reviews and work on fixing bugs and making new features more stable.
