AsifZardari Warrant
Islamabad: Accountability Court of Islamabad has issued a bailable warrant of PPP’s co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in the toshakhana case and rejected his petition seeking exemption from the appearance while the court also initiated a process to declare PML-N’s Lifetime chief Nawaz Sharif as proclaim offender.
The court rejected Asif Ali Zardari petition requesting exemption from the appearance while his counsel appealed the court not to issue his bailable warrants as he will appear before the court on the next hearing. He said that as a senior lawyer ” I am giving undertaking which is a big thing as Asif Zardari is a former president and he is not running away anywhere.”
