BACOLOD CITY – A total of 617 families affected by typhoon “Egay” last year in Sagay City, Negros Occidental received financial assistance totaling P6.17 million from the National Housing Authority .
Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go led the turnover of financial aid at the Taliambong Activity Center on July 20.The cash aid was part of the NHA’s Emergency Housing Assistance Program for housing beneficiaries affected by calamities and certain incidents, according to NHA-Negros Occidental Community Support Services chief Marissa Murillo.
In his message, Go urged the people of Sagay to be selfless in serving others and assured that he continues championing healthcare accessibility to less-privileged Filipinos.
