Since the presidential election, local hotlines and services for LGBBTQ+ youth are seeing an uptick in calls in Pennsylvania and beyond.
Executive director of the Project with branches across Pennsylvania, Corrine Goodwin, shared that the number of phone calls and emails have not stopped coming in from youth, members over 65-years-old, concerned parents, and others a part of LGBTQ community. Another Central PA organization working to help the community is Lancaster Pride explaining their rise of direct messages, and calls of concern.
