Six people were shot Friday in Baltimore, the fourth mass shooting of at least five people this year.
It began in January when five teens were shot at the Edmondson Village Shopping Center. That shooting left 16-year-old Deonta Dorsey dead.
Fast forward to March and 33-year-old boxer Ernest Hall was killed in a mass shooting in the 2800 block of Edmonson. Five people in total were struck in that shooting.BPD Commissioner Michael Harrison resigned from his position, with almost a year left on his contract. Acting Commissioner Richard Worley appears to be inheriting the city's spike in violence which usually takes place in the warmer months.
