State troopers confirm six people were hurt in Monday night's shooting spree on I-5 and one person is under arrest.

At least two of those shooting victims remain hospitalized, with one still in critical condition. A seventh person later came forward after seeing news reports. “It didn't hit my child, thank God, and the bullet landed right there,” one victim, who wanted to remain anonymous, said. “But, I think we're more concerned because it was so close.”
Washington State Patrol responded to that incident, and at least five more shootings on I-5 left multiple people seriously injured. Troopers had to use tourniquets on two victims to try and save their lives. Officers from multiple agencies in Pierce County caught the suspect in the area of University Place.
