The post in question features a stunning black-and-white angled shot of Porizkova in which her neck is the focal point. "Let's talk about necks. Older necks, specifically. How many of us hate our necks?," she wrote in the caption, admitting she disliked her own neck up until she saw this specific photo, which was published in Czech"Here, I sort of love it. The ropey parts, sharply defined and angular, suit me I think. I like the decisiveness of my neck.
"After age 27, I'd always put SPF on my face. This is just my face. No Botox, no fillers, no nothing. When I compare myself with women my age who haven't been so SPF-specific, it does seem like their skin took more of a beating. I didn't worry about my chest, so the difference can be seen there. It's way wrinklier than my face.
Now, it might be a decade later, but if you ask us, Porizkova is still sounding as wise as ever. Here's to loving our necks — at every age.
