Celebrating International Women’s Day and the work of passionate artisans.
Held at the Loo Foh Sang Art Gallery in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Tanming Bhd executive chairman Tan Pau San launched the event at its opening ceremony in the presence of 100 guests.
The exhibition showcased pieces such as Chinese ink paintings, mixed media art, acrylic works, oil paintings, prints and tile artwork. The organising committee put in place measures to ensure everyone’s safety amid the Covid-19 outbreak by supplying hand sanitisers and face masks.Chin Mee Moi, 65, who has been painting for more than 25 years as a hobby, said the exhibition provided a platform for women artists to display their work.“Many of the artists are part-timers. It is their passion for art that keeps them painting and gives them satisfaction outside of their routine jobs.
