50 Cent has responded to the backlash he received after uploading a photo of him with Donald Trump supporter Lauren Boebert.The rapper—born Curtis Jackson III—visited Capitol Hill Wednesday to advocate for Black entrepreneurs and push for more representation in the alcohol industry. 50 Cent, who owns the liquor company Sire Spirits, was joined by civil rights attorney Ben Crump.
His post refers to the fact that Boebert,' an outspoken supporter of gun rights, gained a national spotlight in September 2023 after reports emerged that she and a date had been kicked out of a production of Beetlejuice: The Musical at downtown Denver's Buell Theater due to their allegedly inappropriate behavior.Despite the lawmaker's initial denial of wrongdoing, security camera footage was later released showing Boebert vaping in the theater and fondling her date.
