Robert Kirkman has given fans the ultimate superhero show on TV. Invincible, which tells the coming-of-age story of Mark Grayson , not only shows him gradually taking over his superhero duties more seriously but also makes him immensely relatable and humane.
Season after season, we grow with him as he adjusts to his powers, his father Omni-Man’s betrayal, and the brewing Invincible War. The series is loved for subverting genre tropes, visceral gore, humanization of heroes and mere humans around them, and the meaningful development of both heroes and villains. The first season shows Mark’s transformation into Invincible; the second season explores the complications of his dual life as a student and a superhero; and the third season presents the fan-favorite Invincible War. The ongoing fourth season, which fans received with open arms, now shows us the aftermath of the war, leading the audience towards the intergalactic conflict they’ve been waiting for. The new season debuts with a 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score from critics and a similar 94 percent score from the audience. With much fanfare, the series has created a new milestone. Invincible has taken over Prime Video’s global and domestic streaming charts, as per FlixPatrol. The series is followed by Guy Ritchie’s Young Sherlock, Nicole Kidman’s Scarpetta, 56 Days, fan favorite Cross, and many more on the charts.
