Wednesday's first season introduced many fun and interesting characters, but a few, like Pugsley, could do with more screen time come season 2.
Wednesday season 1 introduced the series' main characters, but several could use more screen time in season 2. The Netflix series has been praised for successfully bringing The Addams Family to the modern age, and actress Jenna Ortega nailed her portrayal of the mysterious and kooky daughter. As the central and titular character, Wednesday is featured far more than the rest of the family.
This could all change in future seasons, especially if Pugsley is ever sent to Nevermore himself. Still, he has yet to present any powers, and while he could hardly be considered a normie, he might not be Nevermore material. Regardless, it would be great if Wednesday's little brother could come for an extended visit so that Wednesday can dive a little deeper into the nuances of their relationship.
Of course, Wednesday is a teenager, and the last thing she wants is to spend too much time around her parents. Still, since The Addams Family put so much attention on the heads of the family, it's strange to see so little of them on Wednesday. So, it would be great to see how much this version of Gomez adheres to his canon counterpart.
2 Eugene Otinger Eugene got a fair amount of screen time in Wednesday season 1 when the titular Nevermore student joined his beekeeping club. He also played the part of the hero in the end since it was thanks to Eugene's loyal bees that Wednesday was saved from Marilyn Thornhill . Still, since Eugene was attacked by the Hyde and rendered unconscious for several episodes, he wasn't as present as he could have been.
