Chuback knew from a young age that he wanted to be a surgeon because his father, a physician and OB/GYN, had been exposed to the earliest days of open-heart surgery as a resident in the 1960’s. Fascinated by the emerging specialty, he encouraged his son to pursue cardiovascular surgery. Becoming a surgeon took many years of hard work, dedication, discipline, sacrifice and training. “Understanding what it takes to achieve something of this magnitude gave me insight into personal development,” Chuback states. “I believe all human beings have astounding potential. I also believe that with the proper knowledge, each individual can achieve extraordinary results.
Chuback feels that both being a doctor and helping people reach their full potential are his callings in life.Chuback believes that the best reward of any career is service to others. “Being in a position to help another human being is a beautiful gift. As a doctor, I serve the people who live in my community every day. In teaching personal development, I do the same thing. I’ve always liked the idea of being a ‘go getter.’ It’s wonderful to be a motivated self-starter.
