Coach Justin Frye and the Buckeyes wanted to bring in five offensive linemen, so no matter which way you slice it, the 2025 recruiting class wasn’t enough.If there’s a silver lining to the lack of success in the 2025 class for the offensive line, it’s that the 2026 class can certainly make up for it with in-state prospects.
Five-star cornerback Elbert Hill is being recruited by every school in the country, and the Archbishop Hoban product can follow a long line of former Hoban prospects to Columbus. Then there’s Victor Singleton from Toledo Central Catholic, and Jakob Weatherspoon of Avon. All are rated in the top 175 prospects.
