C.J. Stroud and the Texans are looking to make some noise on Monday Night Football.

C.J. Stroud has completed 207 passes on 329 attempts for an average of 7.2 yards per pass.
Stroud is having a rough season behind the guys hired to protect him. The Texans quarterback has taken the second-most physical punishment in the NFL this season. Stroud has suffered 34 sacks in 10 games. Only Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has suffered more sacks . Stroud has lost 267 yards to sacks allowed, the most in the league. Stroud is sacked on 9.96 % of his pass attempts. That’s an extreme rush when you consider Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is sacked on only 2.
DeMeco Ryans is part of the new generation changing the ranks of head coaches in the NFL. The 40-year-old who led the Texans to the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2020 in his first season as head coach, is the 2023 NFL Coach of the Year, chosen in voting conducted by the Professional Football Writers of America . Ryans led the Texans to a 10-7 record and the franchise’s first AFC South title since 2019.
