Time is flying by. One second it’s Halloween, and then suddenly, December is knocking on the door. For some, it’s a jarring shift, but others have been looking forward to the holiday season for months. So here are some arts events across Greater Boston to kick off a month of jingle bells, twinkly lights and all-around cheer. And if five events isn’t enough, we haveabout the Ufot family by playwright Mfoniso Udofia.
Those looking to get their holiday shopping done early and support local businesses can head over to the Lexington Arts & Crafts Society’s Holiday Marketplace. Opening this Sunday, the market will sell gifts crafted by LexArt artisans. Some of the wares include silver jewelry, wooden toys, oil and watercolor paintings and ornaments. Snowport is also running in Seaport through Dec. 29. The space boasts more than 120 vendors with treats and creations, from hot chocolate to clothing.
