The UAA women's basketball team celebrates its victory in the Great Alaska Shootout at the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage, on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022. The Seawolves defeated La Salle 88-75. The UAA women’s basketball team welcomes North Dakota State, Vermont and Troy for the 41st edition of the Great Alaska Shootout. The Seawolves play Vermont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and the winners of both semifinals play in Saturday night’s championship.
The Northern Aspects Film Festival is back for a third season. The festival is a showcase for the best independent ski and ride films of Alaska.
