Hear music from Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Anchorage Concert Chorus. See performances of a cult classic musical or do a zombie run. It appears to be a good time to stock up on winter gear, and the NSAA Ski Swap is a perfect spot. Here’s a look at some events around Anchorage this weekend.

To kick off its 45th seasons, Perseverance Theatre is presenting the legendary rock musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” The show “takes audiences on an exhilarating journey of radical, queer self-discovery, self-love, and self-acceptance.” Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $45 and Sunday’s performance is pay as you can at the door.
