With H-E-B's recent debut of a debit card offering 5 percent cash back on the purchase of the grocer's house-branded items, our Taste Team decided to seek out the best and worst of the more than 10,000 products available at the store.
Earlier this month H-E-B announced a new debit card offering 5 percent cash back on the purchase of its house-branded products. And it's more than just items specifically bearing the H-E-B label. Products sold under Hill Country Fare, Meal Simple, Field & Future by H-E-B, Home by H-E-B, Kodi, Cocinaware, H-E-B Kitchen & Table, GTC and other labels are also eligible for the reward.
This week, we've picked out five items that are absolute winners and five items you may want to take a pass on.With the top picks, narrowing down five items from a field of thousands of solid options meant leaving countless other worthy products out of the spotlight. And frankly, you have to work pretty hard to find anything legitimately bad on the shelves at H-E-B, but we gave it the old college try.
