After BYU went three-and-out on its opening drive Saturday, Worthy kick-started things on special teams, bringing a Ryan Rehkow punt 74 yards to the house for his first ever return touchdown. Texas doesn’t control who lines up for the other side, though. And on Saturday, the Longhorns defense thoroughly dominated visiting BYU.Sophomore defensive back Terrance Brooks collected a first quarter interception, the first of his career, thanks to Jahdae Barron’s deflection of a Kedon Slovis pass attempt. Five different Longhorns registered a tackle for loss by the halftime break, while Barryn Sorrell pushed his season sack total to two with a second-quarter red zone takedown of Slovis.
