SINGAPORE — Five employees of McDonald’s Singapore have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the fast food chain said in a media release on Sunday (12 April).

SINGAPORE — Five employees of McDonald’s Singapore have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the fast food chain said in a media release on Sunday .

In line with the National Environment Agency’s guidelines, the restaurants have been deep-cleaned and closed for business till further notice. “Our priority now – as it has been since the start of the pandemic – is to keep our restaurants safe for everyone. As we continue to uphold all important safety measures to the highest standards, we also want to encourage our customers to wear a mask when they visit our restaurants for takeaways in line with the latest recommendation, for their own safety and that of our employees. We are determined to stay united with the rest of Singapore to flatten the curve,” he added.
