Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting linebacker Yaya Diaby went down today with an ankle injury that led to him being carted off. Todd Bowles says that they don't know the severity of the injury yet, so he's hopefully alright — losing Diaby would be an awful turn of events for a defense that desperately needs his pass-rushing skills.
Tampa Bay's undrafted free agent linebacker out of FSU has gotten some buzz this offseason, and he made some plays today. DeLoach had two sacks on Day 7, once coming from the edge on a blitz and another coming down the middle of the line on a strong rep. If he continues to show out, he'll easily makeBaker Mayfield finally hit Trey Palmer on a deep ball on Day 7, much to the pleasure of the crowd.
