Here are five ongoing road projects that may impact your ability to get around the county over the next week.
A portion of Cahaba Heights Road in Vestavia Hills will be closed until today, according to the county to repair a sinkhole according to the Jefferson County Facebook page.Each week Jefferson County posts across their social media pages to let people know what road work is scheduled for the next four or five days.
The Alabama Department of Transportation website also provides a map of ongoing road projects with information on how long the projects are anticipated to last and what lanes will be impacted. Below are five ongoing road projects that may impact your ability to get around the county over the next week:Adamsville’s Lindale Road will remain closed until November 10 as the county continues their work on the road’s realignment, a project that first began in 2008 but was paused until recently due to finances according to Jefferson County Public Information Officer Helen Hays.
