UTP in a statement today said one of the best ways to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is to minimise contact."All communications between lecturers and students are to be done via online platforms to support teaching and learning," the statement added.
On Friday, UTP in a statement said there were no positive Covid-19 cases in the university but five individuals are currently being isolated for observation purposes. "UTP will continue to closely monitor the spread of Covid-19 and will take measures to minimise both the risk and the impact on our campus.
"We urge all to take precautions of washing your hands thoroughly and regularly and going to the clinic if you feel ill. We commit to provide a safe and secure environment for the university community," the statement said.
