5 Bacolod City employers ordered to explain failure to remit SSS contributions of staff

The delinquencies of the six businesses, which reached P5,127,807.85, affected some 204 employees.The SSS officials enforcing the RACE were only able to serve five notices because one establishment was closed.

Lawyer Maria Conchita Antipatia of the SSS Legal Department said employers who fail to comply by April 11 will face criminal cases for violation of the Republic Act No. 11199, otherwise known as the Social Security Act of 2018, which carries the penalty of imprisonment for six years and one day to 12 years.
