FORTY-SIX candidates in the October 30 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections are facing possible disqualification cases at the Commission on Elections after being accused of prematurely campaigning.

The 46 are among the 1,675 candidates issued with show cause orders by the Comelec due to premature campaigning.While 46 are facing possible disqualification cases, the Comelec said there are also 91 bets with SCOs that had the complaints dropped due to lack of"factual basis".
