11,546 ujian saringan Covid-19 dijalankan terhadap pelajar, guru dan kakitangan sekolah tahfiz dan madrasah.– 13 Mei, 2020.

KEMENTERIAN Kesihatan hari ini berkata, 445 orang daripada madrasah dan sekolah tahfiz dijangkiti Covid-19, daripada 11,546 ujian saringan yang dijalankan. Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata ujian saringan dijalankan terhadap guru, pelajar dan kakitangan di madrasah dan sekolah tahfiz.“Kementerian Kesihatan telah mengenal pasti 370 madrasah dan sekolah tahfiz melibatkan 18,728 pelajar, guru dan kakitangan.Dr Noor Hisham berkata, empat individu yang kembali dari luar negara turut disahkan positif Covid-19.Menurutnya, 32,692 orang telah dikuarantin bermula 2 April hingga 13 Mei.
