The slice shop is now opening a second San Francisco location at Stonestown Galleria.
. A city business registry shows the new restaurant will open in Suite 250D in the mall, formerly the space occupied by Villa Italian Kitchen.
The Berkeley location of Blondie's was renamed Abe's Pizza when longtime employee Abdul Zaloukh purchased the restaurant in 2016. But at the beginning of this year, he changed the name back to Blondie's to bring it back to its roots. Zaloukh began working at Blondie's back in 1983, just three years after the Berkeley location first opened.
Blondie's Pizza opened in San Francisco's Westfield mall on Jan. 1, 2022. A new location is now slated for Stonestown Galleria."We look forward to welcoming Blondies as a new dining option for our guests," Josh Deckelbaum, a representative of Stonestown Galleria’s owner-operator Brookfield Properties, told the San Francisco Business Times.
