[+]The poll surveyed 1,349 adult respondents across the country and found that while 40% backed Trump’s move, 30% of respondents opposed it and the remaining 30% said they don’t know either way.
The poll was mostly split along partisan lines, with many of those who agree with Trump’s proposed ban saying that they don’t know much about TikTok. Among Republicans, 69% backed the order but only 32% said they were familiar with the app, while 21% of Democrats expressed support for the order with 46% being familiar with the app.TikTok’s U.S. operations after the White House threatened to ban the app over claims it could share sensitive user data with Chinese authorities, an allegation that TikTok denies.
